About the Role

The role of General Manager at Moove is a senior leadership position that entails overall responsibility for driving the company's strategic direction and operational excellence. As the General Manager, you will oversee various departments, manage key performance indicators, and work closely with the executive team to align business goals with successful execution.

Your role involves making critical decisions, fostering innovation, and ensuring the organization's growth while upholding Moove's values and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the company's trajectory in a dynamic and competitive market.

What You'll be Doing

  1. Develop launch and operational strategies to ensure PMF.
  2. Devise pricing and product strategies in collaboration with Strategy & Planning team.
  3. Set-up, Lead, and Scale Moove's business operations in the geography.
  4. Handle escalations and manage conflict resolutions with our customers.
  5. Plan, process, and execute approved vehicle purchases through our partner OEMs.
  6. Ensure fleet operations are in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
  7. Ensure vehicles are maintained properly.
  8. Register and license all vehicles under their management.
  9. Find ways to cut costs and maximise profits.
  10. Manage the safety and compliance functions.
  11. Contribute to the budgeting process from a Fleet Operations perspective.
  12. Liaise with peers within the region & company to share knowledge and optimise operations.
  13. Monitor driver behaviour and ensure a high level of customer service.
  14. Analyse data to increase business operational efficiency.
  15. Lead deployment and quality of supply chain (i.e. Moove Driver-partners).
  16. Collaborate with marketing teams to initiate creative local strategies and user growth campaigns.

What You will need for this position

  1. Degree in Logistics or Mechanical Engineering or Management.
  2. Ideally 10+ years of similar experience in logistics or supply functions in startups.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Strong negotiation skills.
  5. Outstanding organisational skills.
  6. Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
  7. Tech-savvy and data-centric.
  8. MBA will be preferred, but not a mandatory requirement.
  9. Growth mindset to scale up products and new geographies.

  1. Monthly P&L output - Actuals vs Targets.
  2. Weekly Fleet Utilisation 96% of the fleet - Actuals vs Targets.
  3. Driver Full Deposits in hand.
  4. NPA %.
  5. Monthly Recovery 1% against fleet size.
  6. Cash Collection % against receivables.
  7. City Driver Partner satisfaction score.
  8. Fleet Safety - Telematics & Cameras.
  9. Overall Fleet Growth.
