Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
- Experience in infrastructure and construction projects preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust supply chain management (SCM) Framework and strategy aligned with the company strategic objectives.
- Develop supporting operational plans for the supply chain management Unit to ensure successful execution of the company strategic objectives.
- Development and implement a Local Supplier Development Programme (short term and long term).
- Manage end-to-end supply chain management processes and ensure compliance with related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage supply chain management associated risks and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards across all SCM activities.
- Support the Head of Finance in identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost efficiency and risk mitigation in the supply chain function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance supply chain performance.
- Maintain and document all supply chain management records, including procurement data, risk management plans, spending reports and stakeholder management information.
- Provide leadership to the supply chain management team and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Honours Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 8)
- A certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CIPS / CSCP / CPSM)
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) of which three (3) years must be at Senior management level in Social and Community Development projects environment or similar
- Must have a valid driver’s license with own vehicle.
- Previous experience in Infrastructure and Construction related projects.
- Experience in procurement systems and integration into the overall procure-to-pay related systems
