Job Purpose

The Manager of Special Projects provides project management for key organisational initiatives and oversees cross-functional operational activities within the CEO’s office. The ideal individual will ensure that projects are implemented timely, aligned with organisational priorities, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for defining and establishing services and benefits in systems and documentation. The role also supports the CEO’s office, including Board reporting and managing key events.

Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to:

  • Drive the development and implementation of products and programs for the business unit
  • Develop and drive project plans and timelines within the CEO’s office
  • Implement strategies to keep tasks on schedule, manage project teams and stakeholder meetings
  • Conduct research and stay informed on regulatory and market changes
  • Communicate information through training and documentation
  • Develop written plans and strategy documents
  • Report to the Board and EXCO on key performance metrics
  • Manage regulatory communication within the Bank
  • Develop progress reports and data analyses
  • Coordinate with internal business owners and subject matter experts
  • Conduct ad hoc research, analysis, and projects
  • Create presentations, reports, and strategic communications

Education and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Actuarial or finance background is advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years relevant project experience
