Job Title: Raw Materials Buyer

Description

RPO Recruitment is currently representing a leading manufacturing company in their search for a skilled Raw Materials Buyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  2. Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
  3. Negotiate and enforce contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production team to ensure adequate stock of raw materials.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  6. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to improve efficiency.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
  8. Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Buyer or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  7. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
