Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for our SAP Concur team in Midrand, South Africa.

  • Proactive involvement in business process improvement and SAP Concur enablement initiatives, including implementation, maintenance, and support of SAP Concur.
  • Conduct business needs analysis and identify key business challenges.
  • Analyze authorization and approval business processes and workflows for Expense and Invoice.
  • Understand SAP Concur product functionality and its relation to business users.
  • Gather functional and business requirements from clients and translate them into the scope of Concur products/services.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to achieve clients' desired business outcomes.
  • Assist in defining the 'To-Be' stage of processes, solution application requirements, and performance measurements.
  • Develop deployment and enablement strategies, roadmaps, and plans to achieve the 'To-Be' stage effectively.
  • Manage and conduct deployment activities and measure achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Involve proactively in change management for large-scale, multi-site, and other transformational change efforts, including efficiency initiatives, organizational restructurings, and capabilities development.
  • Support the team with building opportunity pipelines and proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate and work effectively in team environments and independently.
  • Be strategic and creative while remaining detail-oriented and process-focused.
  • Lead a team of SAP Concur specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP Concur, including system administration and configuration.
  • 3+ years in a managerial role, preferably in a technical or financial systems environment.
  • Strong expertise in travel and expense management processes and best practices.
  • Proven project management and process optimization track record.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data translation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly preferred SAP Concur certifications.
  • Experience with other financial systems and ERP integrations is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience in client presentations and report writing.
  • Sound financial knowledge and innovative thinking.
