Responsibilities

Currently we are seeking a Manager - Safety, Quality Risk and Policy to join our team. The successful applicant/s shall be responsible to:

  • Lead SMHS Mental Health clinical governance systems and processes. Lead the patient safety, clinical quality and continuous improvement activities. Responsible for planning and directing audit/reviews of SMHS Mental Health clinical activities/systems to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.
  • This position contributes to the development and implementation of strategic and operational planning, policy and service improvement initiatives. This includes the analysis related to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHS) National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Clinical Care Standards and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist (OCP) Standards.
