Job Description

To grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Premium Segment relationships through partnering for growth using an ecosystem mindset to proactively provide a high-end differentiated service with premium solutions that add value.

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to grow a portfolio of high-value Premium Segment clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth and client retention.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations, positioning oneself as a trusted financial advisor.
  3. Conduct thorough analyses of clients' business needs and financial objectives to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling premium banking solutions.
  4. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments to deliver tailored, high-end financial services that meet and exceed client expectations.
  5. Implement a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential threats to the Premium Segment portfolio.
  7. Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial presentations and proposals to senior executives of client organisations.
  8. Manage and resolve complex client issues with utmost professionalism and urgency, maintaining the bank's reputation for excellence in customer service.
  9. Consistently achieve and exceed performance targets related to portfolio growth, client satisfaction, and revenue generation.
  10. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Premium Segment division.
Qualifications, Skills, and Work Experience
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. A master's degree (MBA) or postgraduate diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or Banking may be advantageous.
  3. Professional certifications such as Certified Banker (CB), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) can be a plus.
Work Experience
  1. 3–7 years of experience in business banking, commercial banking, or corporate banking.
  2. Proven experience in relationship management, financial advisory, or credit analysis for business clients.
  3. Experience in lending, credit risk assessment, and structuring financial solutions for business clients.
  4. Knowledge of SME banking, mid-market banking, or high-net-worth business clients is often required.
Key Skills and Competencies
  1. Strong relationship management and client acquisition skills.
  2. In-depth knowledge of business banking products, including loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management.
  3. Financial analysis and credit assessment expertise.
  4. Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance in business banking.
  5. Sales and business development skills to grow the bank's portfolio.
  6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to use CRM and banking software for client management.
