To maximise recovery of the non-performing book through the application of Legal / Risk management processes in order to minimise loss / risk for Nedbank.
Job Responsibilities
- Rehabilitate delinquent accounts by concluding settlement agreements and arrangements with clients within mandate.
- Meet monthly individual and team performance (Business and Financial) targets by proactively managing the portfolio.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing support, communicating effectively, and conducting oneself professionally.
- Create world-class customer service by resolving queries effectively within turnaround times.
- Drive team efficiency by planning and executing business strategies and reviewing daily reports.
- Manage team performance, skills, and knowledge through on-the-job training, counselling, and coaching.
- Recommend and submit policy and procedure enhancements with supporting documentation.
- Stay updated with legislative changes by attending industry workshops and information sessions.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards by ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage external stakeholder performance within specified parameters, mandates, and SLAs.
- Identify performance gaps via evaluations and analysis of data from the MIS.
- Implement risk management practices by identifying, assessing, and acting on risks.
