Job description

Manager Quality Systems

The Manager of Quality Systems will be responsible for developing the company's quality policies, processes, standards, and systems. This role involves establishing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and industry requirements through existing and new procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting audits and managing the audit program to ensure compliance, with effective correction and verification of nonconformities.
  2. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  3. Performing internal and external quality audits, and compiling detailed reports of findings.
  4. Participating in the development of quality policies and procedures.
  5. Ensuring the QMS is regularly reviewed and updated to meet external certification standards.
  6. Implementing systems and procedures to meet customer requirements and facilitate audits.
  7. Managing corrective action plans and follow-ups for non-conformances.
  8. Monitoring quality indicators such as failure costs, customer complaints, and NCRs.
  9. Reviewing production QC requirements and documentation to ensure compliance.
  10. Identifying and implementing quality improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
  11. Serving as the point of contact with certification bodies and coordinating audits.
  12. Managing the non-conformity database and analyzing non-conformities.
  13. Leading and coaching the Quality team to achieve quality objectives and promote best practices.
  14. Standardizing quality management systems across all sites.

Qualifications required:

  • BEng / BTech in Quality or equivalent.
  • Experience in ISO implementation.
  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing skills (advantageous).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality management within medium to large organizations, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good planning, resource management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Clear security screening record and medical fitness for the environment.
  • Valid Code 8 Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
