WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
As the Manager, People Business Partner (PBP), you will inspire, interact, and provide support to our most important asset: our people. Your mission is to review, develop, and implement the best PBP strategies and initiatives at Boldr while aligning the various teams with the company's strategic and operational objectives. We’re looking for top notch HR People Leaders to provide outstanding customer service to our business leaders and team members. WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead the execution of PBP practices in employee engagement and retention, organizational development, and performance management, ensuring an environment where our people can thrive.
- Forge strong strategic partnerships and client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor within the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute impactful short and long-term plans that address both tactical and strategic business priorities, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Challenge and innovate existing People policies to create a better environment for team members and Boldr.
- Utilize people's insights to drive meaningful actions and evidence-based decision making.
- Mentor and collaborate effectively with our People Leadership Team, exemplifying a leadership mindset.
- Act as a point of escalation for team members, addressing ideas, issues, and concerns with empathy and expertise.
- Equip the team with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to excel in key organizational initiatives.
- Define and implement short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing relevant labor law & government requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; and representing Boldr at CCMA hearings.
- Oversee planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results; address grievances; and provide counseling when needed.
- Optimize historical employment records by maximizing the HRIS system by ensuring record accuracy.
- Establish and maintain a Workplace Forum as required by the Labor Relations Act.
- Take on any additional duties consistent with your skills and experience, as directed by your manager.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (e.g. WEP/ATR and EE).

YOU HAVE…
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development, or equivalent on the job experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience as a PBP/HRBP.
- Strong experience in strategic partnership, client relationship building, organizational development, performance management, 9-box grid, and employee relations.
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and preventive labor relations, is preferred.
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement, are preferred.
- People Experience in a night shift BPO environment is preferred
