Job summary

MECS Africa is seeking an experienced logistics leader to head Base Oil, Warehouse and Dispatch teams, driving strategies to cut transport and warehousing costs while maintaining safety and quality.

You will manage stock control, warehousing, dispatch, and distribution, develop teams, and collaborate with Planning, Production, Maintenance, Finance and SHEQ to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management, Truck Load Rack, Tank Farm and Vessel Operations.
• 5–10 years’ management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, logistics and distribution operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing operational requirements.
