Job description
Overview

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries. We work at the invitation of governments to support them and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems. CHAI was founded in 2002 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic with the goal of dramatically reducing the price of life-saving drugs and increasing access to these medicines in countries with the highest burden of the disease. Our work has expanded to prevent and treat infectious diseases such as COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, and to address cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and other non-communicable diseases. We also work to accelerate vaccine rollout, reduce maternal and child mortality, combat malnutrition, and increase access to assistive technology. Our strategy focuses on strengthening health systems through programs in human resources for health, digital health, and health financing, with a commitment to scale and shared learnings globally. CHAI is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fairness, mutual respect, and equal employment opportunities. CHAI values diversity and inclusion, recognizing that leadership and contributions from people with diverse backgrounds help advance our mission.

Position

The Legal Team ensures that CHAI’s work is conducted with integrity and in compliance with relevant laws and standards. This position is flexible to being based in one of CHAI’s program countries pending country leadership approval and subject to the ability to obtain work authorization.
