A regulatory authority in Pretoria is looking for an individual to manage the Insurers Supervision Department, develop a risk-based supervisory framework, and engage effectively with stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to work under pressure. Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
To assist with the management of the department and to help develop and maintain an appropriate conduct of business supervisory framework for the insurance industry. The person appointed to this position will report to the Departmental Head.
The candidates must demonstrate the following skills: the ability to work independently and as part of a team, function well under pressure, exercise high professional judgment, analyze problems using applicable legislation and relevant sources, gather and analyze information, interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, organize, lead, and motivate a team to meet organizational goals, possess good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, conceptual thinking, computer literacy, strong research and report writing skills, data analysis abilities, leadership qualities, and strategic thinking skills.
