About The Role

This role involves working closely with the Senior Director of North American Caselaw and the Global Head of Cases to align the Global Case Law team around a shared vision for growth and operational excellence. You will focus on improving efficiency, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction. A key responsibility is leading change management as the team transitions into a production environment utilizing generative AI for content creation and review. You will also play a vital role in fostering employee engagement and enabling high team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support a high-performing editorial team producing legal content such as case law summaries, headnotes, and annotations.
  2. Promote a culture of collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement.
  3. Implement scalable editorial workflows, integrating AI tools and automation.
  4. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  5. Ensure content meets quality, accuracy, and timeliness standards.
  6. Manage team resources, project priorities, and stakeholder relationships.
  7. Oversee budgets, vendor engagements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  8. Contribute to global editorial strategies and cross-functional projects.
  9. Support the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  1. Experience leading teams or managing projects in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  3. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and quality.
  4. A problem-solving mindset and openness to new technologies and continuous improvement.
  5. Familiarity with legal content, editorial processes, or similar professional environments.
  6. A law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) or relevant legal editorial experience.
  7. Experience supporting teams through organizational change or transformation.
  8. A process-oriented approach, with the ability to develop and implement consistent workflows and best practices.
