Job description

Accountable for Designing, implementing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to meet the current and future business requirements based on Group Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans which align to Business Strategy
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures and associated training plans for Group IT and initiatives
• Be responsible for IT Asset Management, inventory, life cycle management and any related documentation
• Establish and manage service levels to the business
• Plan, acquire and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organizations network
• Conduct research and make recommendations on products or services in the market that will complement our Group IT strategy
• Negotiate with vendors, outsources and contractors and ensure relevant agreements are in place
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of the group’s IT infrastructure and (cyber) security to ensure audit compliance
• To uphold and promote the company values and culture

Qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualification preferably in the field of computer science or similar
• 5 years of relevant work/management experience
• 5 years’ experience managing enterprise-wide LAN’s, WAN’s, WLAN’s, VPN’s and Back Office Infrastructure
