Manager: EUM

EUM, part of the TWK group, has the following vacancy available: Manager: EUM at Pretoria / Krugersdorp, Gauteng.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding client insurance needs.
• Grow our broker network and support new brokers using the EUM platform.
• Lead and manage relationship managers, junior representatives, and broker networks.
• Maintain a strong understanding of personal and commercial short-term insurance products.
• Provide product guidance and support to internal teams.
• Oversee the claims team, ensuring efficient claims processing and fair settlements.
• Negotiate claims with policyholders and external stakeholders.
• Supervise the underwriting team to ensure proper risk evaluation and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the administrative team handling renewals, endorsements, and general servicing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
• Proven experience in short-term insurance, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to assess risks and performance.
• Effective problem-solving abilities, especially in claims and underwriting.
• Solid understanding of sales, client relationship management, and business development.
• Computer literacy and comfort with insurance systems and platforms.
