Salary: R33 000 - R43 000 CTC (Based on experience)

A premium, design-led interiors and lifestyle brand is seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join its in-house marketing team. This role is ideal for a creative strategist with a passion for digital storytelling, community growth, and performance-driven campaigns.

You’ll be responsible for executing both organic and paid digital marketing strategies across key social platforms—collaborating with internal creatives and an external agency to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and grow conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
  • Collaborate with the copy editor to write engaging and brand-aligned captions
  • Partner with designers, stylists, and photographers to create visually compelling content
  • Manage community engagement—responding to comments, messages, and DMs
  • Launch, manage, and optimise paid digital campaigns (Meta and Google)
  • Brief and coordinate with the external digital agency, reviewing work and results
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance across paid and organic channels
  • Identify and manage influencer partnerships and brand collaborations
  • Stay informed on social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, ideally in a premium or lifestyle brand environment
  • Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and scheduling tools
  • Excellent copywriting and visual communication skills
  • Basic design knowledge (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong organisational and project management skills; familiarity with platforms like Asana

Advantageous:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content best practices
  • Experience in both organic social media and paid digital advertising (Meta and Google Ads)
  • Honors degree in Marketing, Brand Management, or Strategic Communication
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing performance metrics

Certifications (preferred but not required):

  • Google Ads Certification (Search or Display)
  • Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate or Media Buying Professional
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Digital Marketing Certificate from a reputable organisation
  • Short courses in copywriting, content creation, or visual communication

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and tools like Buffer
  • Strong copywriting and visual communication abilities
  • Basic layout/design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong project and time management capabilities with platforms like Asana
