Job Overview

Manage medium to large-scale projects across Operational Effectiveness Services (OES) and the organization, delivering global solutions that identify and accelerate operational productivity, optimization, and efficiency through change and process improvements. Increase value-add throughout the organization. Assume responsibility and ownership of projects and business challenges, developing establishment as a subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality, timely, on-budget deliverables in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices.

Essential Functions

  1. Plan, organize, and manage projects to drive successful completion of RWS Global Operations strategic initiatives.
  2. Possess knowledge of commercial contracting, proposals, and associated tasks and processes.
  3. Convert business requirements into tangible solutions and drive execution to generate ROI for the business.
  4. Manage the rollout of systems and process integration across the RWS organization.
  5. Manage programs, timelines, relationships, and stakeholder coordination to meet business objectives.
  6. Remove obstacles impeding the implementation of Global Operations strategic initiatives, ensuring ongoing coordination between business units and close collaboration with RWS counterparts.
  7. Participate in Business Process Optimization initiatives utilizing Lean and other methods to enhance operational efficiencies and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (Req).
  • 7 years of experience in relevant functions such as clinical operations, applied math, IT, data management, business, laboratory, or project management (Req).
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (Req).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data capture and compilation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project leadership, staff management, and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills, with a focus on driving initiatives to closure.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills suitable for all organizational levels, including Executive Management.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff successfully.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process/data analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp, understand, and apply various analysis techniques.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within quality standards.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, staff, clients, and executives.
