Job description

Scope of Work

To act as a technical leader, expert, and mentor in the C&I department.

This includes technical responsibility for the department's input related to proposals and contracts.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure that designs and technical solutions are produced professionally and cost-effectively, meeting high standards.
• Maintain engineering integrity and comply with legal and industry requirements.
• Keep abreast of all projects within the department by conducting regular team meetings, and maintaining the project dashboard and manpower resourcing tools.

Your profile

Education

The candidate must possess a BSc / BEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa.

Work Experience

Minimum of 20 years of relevant design experience.

Experience in the oil and gas environment is essential.

Knowledge of NEC would be an advantage.

Additional Educational Requirements

Managerial skills are essential.

Proficiency in MS Office and software related to Instrument Engineering Design and technical specifications is required.
