  • Salary: $145,378 to $168,130 + Super + Leave Loading (Clerk Grade 11/12)

Our Business Advisory team is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Business Advisory to manage a small specialist team delivering business and financial advisory services to the Corporate and Enabling Services division.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your analytical and stakeholder collaboration skills to support a progressive and engaged client group.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Financial Planning: Develop and monitor group operating and capital budgets, financial forecasts, and forward estimates to meet requirements and commitments.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide insightful performance reports and critical analysis on financial results, group initiatives, projects, and related issues.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Corporate and Enabling Services team to manage budget variances and assess the commercial viability and impact on net service costs.
  • Advisory Services: Offer strategic advice on financial and budgetary drivers, including branch and cost center analysis, and support in setting and monitoring savings targets.
  • Business Case Analysis: Review and analyze group business cases and funding submissions, providing recommendations for fund allocation.

About You

Ideally, you possess demonstrated expertise in a similar senior finance or advisory role, with excellent collaboration and communication skills. Experience with labour analytics, data modeling in Excel, and familiarity with My Outcomes and BlackLine (or willingness to learn) are highly valued.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia, or equivalent experience.
