Reporting to: Audit Training Team Lead and Head of Audit.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality accounting, audit, and power skills training courses online, face-to-face, or through coaching.
- Designing course content based on needs assessments, addressing all learning styles, and enhancing quality.
- Updating content to reflect changes in standards, legislation, and audit methodology.
- Supporting content review and quality assurance.
- Participating in focus groups and collaborating with stakeholders for content updates.
- Addressing trainee queries and providing post-course support.
- Building relationships with audit staff and improving departmental systems and processes.
- Traveling regionally within Africa as required.
- Managing training coordination, including scheduling, reporting, and system maintenance.
- Supporting digitalization efforts like eLearning creation and LMS management.
- Preparing communications and reports for stakeholders.
- Handling administrative responsibilities within the training department.
- Assisting with audit client engagements at a managerial level.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CA (SA)
- Minimum two years post-articles experience
- Excellent knowledge of International Auditing Standards and IFRS
- Exposure to IFRS for SMEs and SAICA Assessor certification are desirable
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with online training platforms (MS Teams, etc.)
- Experience with eLearning software (Articulate, etc.) and LMS systems is desirable
- PCAOB audit experience is a plus
