Position for a MANAGEMENT COUPLE - 5-Star (Big Five Reserve) - Lodge Manager Positions

  • Please read both job specifications below before applying. Location: Near Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga.
  • Position for a MANAGEMENT COUPLE - 5-Star Game Reserve.
  • One on-site housing unit included for the couple.
  • No children or pets allowed due to the size of the housing.
Responsibilities and Functions:

The couple will share two separate roles:

  1. Position One: Lodge Manager / Guest Services / Admin
  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or similar qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a 4 or 5-star lodge environment, with experience in front-of-house, HR, admin, and lodge operations.
  • Welcome and check-in guests.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest communications.
  • Coordinate guest activities, bush experiences, and special occasions.
  • Supervise front-of-house and housekeeping staff.
  • Prepare rosters and oversee daily tasks.
  • Monitor infrastructure conditions and coordinate with maintenance.
  • Oversee financial processes, including guest billing, petty cash, and invoicing.
  • Ensure booking accuracy (NightsBridge or similar systems).
  • Handle procurement tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Assist in lodge marketing and social media updates (an advantage).
