The successful candidate will be based in South Africa, with regular trips to operations in Sierra Leone and Ghana.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly production reports
• Analyse Volume and Price Variance with detailed commentary for business users
• Post monthly allocation journals
• Continually analyse and improve standard costing
• Work alongside the planning and production managers to ensure BOMs / Work standards are accurate and complete
• Review Key Production KPIs and identify distressed areas
• Manage product lists ensuring new products are accurately created across the group with correct cost code allocation and uniform item numbers
• Automate reporting through use of Analytic Tools to speed up reporting

What you bring

• Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a similar business
• Experience in the manufacturing or forestry industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Ability to interact constructively with people across different cultures, disciplines and institutions
• Experience working in fast growing manufacturing businesses
• Fluency in English and excellent computer literacy
