A trusted and well-established client of ours in The Middle East is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a Private Hospital.
Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to oversee financial operations at our private hospital. The focus will be on cash flow management and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making to support the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the hospital's cash flow, including forecasting, monitoring, and optimizing reserves to meet operational needs and obligations.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and financial reporting requirements, including tax filings, licensing, and statutory reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations for senior management.
- Collaborate with departmental heads and finance teams to develop and monitor budgets aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct financial and variance analysis to identify improvement areas and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, optimizing cash cycles and minimizing risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies for audits and compliance reviews, ensuring timely submissions.
- Provide financial support and guidance to operational teams, assisting with planning, analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in healthcare finance, implementing necessary changes.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a management accountant or financial analyst in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial reporting standards, and healthcare laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and making recommendations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with creative solution proposals.
