This well-known insurer in South Africa is looking for a Management Accountant!

This company is extremely established and has over 40 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for posting monthly journals.
2. Timely preparation of management accounts.
3. Manage the budget and forecasting process.
4. Timely preparation of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
5. Analyse and provide commentary on monthly results.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications: CA (SA)

Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience within the Financial Services industry (including articles).
2. 1 - 2 years post articles experience in a commercial environment.
3. Insurance accounting would be advantageous.
4. Financial and management accounting (IFRS).
5. Knowledge of systems and controls, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
