Introduction
This position will be primarily based at the Ensersa Office in Rustenburg while travelling to Head Office in Woodmead will be required.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the financial function and reporting of various projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent numerical proficiency and the ability to analyse and create complex financial models to support business decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensersa duties:
- Day-to-day support of all finance required duties on-site; including processing of supplier invoices; Prepare reconciliations for all suppliers; Managing payments to suppliers
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all GL accounts on a monthly basis
- Responsible for intercompany accounts
- Prepare month end journals
- Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs
- Track and forecast project financials such as revenue, costs, and margin
- Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data for each project
- Prepare monthly billing for projects
- Monitor project progress, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as necessary
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and project contracts
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management
Special Projects duties:
- Build financial models in excel based on historical information and other available industry-specific operating metrics
- Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to access business risk
- Evaluate projects using various financial valuation methods, such as DCF, comparable company analysis and capital structure analysis
- Identify key financial and non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis with the intent to support investment activities
- Analyse and identify data required to support model tracking
- Preparing financial reports for stakeholders and decision-makers
- Ensuring model accuracy by validating assumptions and inputs
- Collaborating with teams to provide financial insights for strategic planning
- Any other ad hoc duties
Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- CIMA Associate
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
- Experience with Sage X3 accounting software
- Excellent numerical skills and the ability to analyse complex financial information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
