JVR Software in Gauteng seeks a senior Costing Specialist to lead standard costing, BOM validation, overhead absorption, and inventory valuation within a manufacturing setting.

You will drive margin analyses, make-vs-buy decisions, and cost-control initiatives, partnering with ERP teams (SYSPRO) and finance to optimize cost bases and inventory accuracy using AI-enabled tools.

Formación

• CIMA (CGMA) qualified.
• BCom Accounting, BCom Cost & Management Accounting or an equivalent degree.
• 58 years' costing experience in a manufacturing environment, including standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Strong knowledge of standard and actual costing, overhead absorption, variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Hands‑on ERP experience (SYSPRO an advantage) and advanced Excel.
• Advantageous Experience in a mining or mining-supply environment.
• SQL or Power BI.
• Experience with multi‑entity, imported or international cost bases.
• A track record of improving processes, and practical use of AI-enabled tools.
