Management Accountant (2 months)

Job Description

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
2. 3 years of Budgeting experience.
3. Professional accounting qualification.
4. Experience in budgeting, accounting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
5. Ability to manage, train, develop, and motivate staff.
6. Familiarity with financial and contractual matters in a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advise and support managers on financial management and budgeting.
2. Liaise with cost center managers and business units to provide management accounting support.
3. Coordinate accurate assessment of actual expenditure and income.
4. Review forecasts and provide commentary for decision-making.
5. Formulate and review financial plans to ensure accuracy.
6. Oversee the closing of Annual Accounts.
7. Evaluate business plan feasibility and financial viability.
8. Coordinate development of financial systems.
9. Ensure compliance with financial procedures.
10. Develop budget tracking system.
11. Prepare project reports for grant-funded projects.
12. Assist with creditors management.

Salary: R40,000 per month.
