Management Accountant

To create and analyse financial reports / information and provide expertise, perform and monitor financial processes, and ensure financial best practice compliance. Follows existing processes and procedures to manage own cost efficiencies.

Makes recommendations on potential cost saving opportunities.

Ensures cost and financial risk management for area. Adheres to Business values and service standards with regard to customer interactions. Establishes and maintains sound relationships with stakeholders and manages cross-functional relationships effectively.

Ensures timeous, accurate and best practice aligned service delivery. Creates financial reports for area. Analyses and summaries financial reports for management. Extracts and reports on financial system information. Performs month end, quarter end, interim and year end processes.

Monitors financial trends, performance and accounting discrepancies, and resolves accounting discrepancies and financial concerns. Performs daily cash management. Maintains awareness of and adherence to Group IFRS practices.

Identifies financial improvements and opportunities for business. Implements, monitors and controls financial processes and best practices in line with business and industry standards. Provides financial and non-financial information to line management by combining costing, finance and business management solutions to drive business and operational performance and controls.
