Job description

The Management Accountant will assist the Group CFO with the full finance function of the group. This includes 5 entities and the department's goal is to be a business partner to all the divisions and entities within the company. This will be a role that will develop with time.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Finance / Accounting (not negotiable)
  2. 3 – 5 years' work experience

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Processing transactions in ERP System
  2. Balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Cash books and reconciliations
  4. Timely processing of Accounts receivables and Account payables
  5. Follow up on debtors' payments
  6. Detailed Credit card reconciliations
  7. Filing of documentation, mainly credit card slips
  8. Variance analysis
  9. VAT reconciliations
  10. SARS submissions
  11. Intercompany transactions
  12. Assist in preparing annual budgets
  13. Liaise with group Heads for invoicing, reporting and other requirements
  14. Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management
  15. Monthly project reporting and management accounts
  16. Ability to work on multiple group entities
  17. Assist with audit preparation and providing audit evidence
  18. Process payroll journals
  19. Assist with BBBEE submissions
  20. Providing weekly cashflow data for group cashflow control
  21. Responsible for full Trial Balance
