Management Accountant

To provide accurate and timely accounting analysis budgeting and forecast information.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

Duties include but will not be limited to :

1. General ledger provision reconciliations ensure that all the recons are completed on time accurately and that all reconciling items are cleared timeously.
2. Prepare journals and ensure that all journals are accurate including monthly accrual journals.
3. Compile and distribute monthly cost centre expense reports Obtain information from Qlikview / Qliksense / NAV format reports as required and distribute with insightful commentary.
4. Prepare the Consolidated Fixed and Variable Operating Expense reports for Monthly and board packs including insightful commentary.
5. Prepare and consolidate Fixed Operating expense budget and required budget reports.
6. Review and maintain selling expense cost rate tables ensure cost rate tables are aligned to actual selling expenses.
7. Prepare Factory Shops income statements.
8. Prepare monthly sales pack reports compiling various sales reports for the various markets / divisions as required.
9. Monthly Management Quarterly Board and Budget Pack.
10. Adhoc reports and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES :

1. B or relevant tertiary qualification.
2. Computer literacy with a high degree of proficiency in MS Excel.
3. At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
4. Good computer literacy in Microsoft applications especially Excel.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Good understanding of key business processes and practices.
7. Analytical and good problem solving ability.
8. Accurate with strong attention to detail.
9. Methodical and meticulous.
10. Responsive; Energetic.
11. Ability to function independently and under pressure.
12. Ability to filter information and assess priorities.
13. Logical thinking; Reliable.
