A large and prominent group of companies is seeking to employ a Management Accountant at their offices in Cape Town. This established and diverse group has interests in the Engineering, Construction, Fabrication, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Property sectors. They are looking for an experienced financial professional with an inquisitive, dynamic, and analytical nature to take charge of this role. The ideal candidate should be proactive, hardworking, forward-thinking, and have long-term goals to progress within the business.
The candidate should have completed SAICA, CIMA, or SAIPA articles and be registered or eligible to register with a professional finance regulatory body. Post-article experience in a similar role is highly desirable, especially in manufacturing, engineering, or related industries. Experience with Syspro or similar ERP systems, as well as working within a group structure managing multiple entities and intercompany loan accounts, will be advantageous.
The Management Accountant will oversee the finance function of the group, manage accounting and admin staff, and report to the Group Financial Manager and the Managing Director.
