Our client is looking for a skilled Management Accountant to oversee financial operations, including budgeting, tax management, and internal audits. This role involves providing analytical support to senior management through cost and revenue analysis, ensuring the financial integrity of all operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all processing in SAGE Evolution accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct month-end procedures, ensuring all reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement items.
  • Prepare monthly and annual accruals, insurance reviews, and schedules.
  • Complete VAT reconciliations, submissions, and payments, along with tax calculations and submissions to SARS.
  • Manage detailed stock processing, transactions, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy in financial transactions, reporting, and operational reports.
  • Assist with external and SARS audit preparations, as well as annual budget processes.
  • Draft annual financial statements and prepare monthly management reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support stock takes and analyze financial results on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain organized files and supporting documents, and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
