Position Title : Maintenance Worker (Casual)Program : OperationsLocation : Alice Springs NTWDNWPT Aboriginal Corporation EA – Administrative Level 2, Casual up to 38 hours per week, $33.63 per hour

About the Role As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Your work will contribute to a positive environment for both staff and visitors.

Remote travel may be required to various locations for maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.Perform minor repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, including landscaping and rubbish removal.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.Assist with larger maintenance projects and renovations as required.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including WHS standards.Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.Travel to remote locations as necessary for maintenance tasks.Mandatory Requirements Experience working for an Aboriginal organisation and / or experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communitiesCurrent National Criminal History check (less than 3 months old)Covid 19 vaccination 2 jabs + 1 boosterUnrestricted driver license to drive in the NTUnrestricted legal rights to work in AustraliaWhat we offer Attractive salary with 11.5% super + generous salary packaging optionsIf you think you have what we're looking for, please submit your Expression of Interest in the form of a one-page cover letter and resume using the APPLY NOW button below.
