Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Rosslyn site in Gauteng, South Africa.

You will support day-to-day maintenance, inspections, and fault-finding across automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with responsibilities extending to installation and testing of process equipment. The role requires a Millwright Red Seal or Electrical/Mechanical Diploma, with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant and building maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Disassemble, repair, replace and install process equipment.
• Maintain and repair all types of process machinery.
• Assemble and test machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Manage equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication of components.
• Participate in a 24/7 maintenance standby roster.
• Adhere to safety standards and local regulations.
