Maintenance Technician

Our well-established client is seeking a professional Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and regular, proactive onsite communication.
• Provide accurate and real-time reporting of work performed.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end-users onsite.
• Manage the site environment during service operations.
• Identify site risks and communicate any occurrences promptly.
• Identify unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs, contact the onsite contact person, obtain approval if not covered by the contract, and perform repairs.
• Manage PAR stock levels, including inventory shelving, stock transfers, and timely replenishment orders.
• Submit timesheets accurately based on work performed.

Skills & Experience

• Qualifications such as:
• Completed NQF Level 4 certification with an apprenticeship (minimum 4 years);
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineer Diploma/Degree with at least 12 months shadowing a competent lift mechanic;
• Completed NQF Level 5 certification with at least 12 months shadowing a competent lift mechanic;
• Good communication skills and basic IT skills.
