Our well-established client is seeking a professional Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and regular, proactive onsite communication.
- Provide accurate and real-time reporting of work performed.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end-users onsite.
- Manage the site environment during service operations.
- Identify site risks and communicate any occurrences promptly.
- Identify unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs, contact the onsite contact person, obtain approval if not covered by the contract, and perform repairs.
- Manage PAR stock levels, including inventory shelving, stock transfers, and timely replenishment orders.
- Submit timesheets accurately based on work performed.
Skills & Experience
- Qualifications such as:
- Completed NQF Level 4 certification with an apprenticeship (minimum 4 years);
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer Diploma/Degree with at least 12 months shadowing a competent lift mechanic;
- Completed NQF Level 5 certification with at least 12 months shadowing a competent lift mechanic;
- Good communication skills and basic IT skills.
