Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) in Pretoria seeks a Maintenance Technician in the Production department. The role focuses on fault-finding, preventive and corrective maintenance, and condition monitoring to ensure reliable plant operations.

The technician will use CMMS, read technical drawings and OEM docs, and ensure SHEQ and GMP compliance during all maintenance tasks. Root cause analysis support and continuous improvement participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and repairs.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance execution.
• Equipment inspections and condition monitoring.
• Use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and OEM documentation.
• SHEQ and GMP compliance during maintenance tasks.
• Root cause analysis support and improvement participation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities per schedule.
• Inspect equipment and monitor condition to identify potential failures.
• Document maintenance work in the CMMS and follow work orders.
• Interpret technical drawings and OEM documentation for installations and repairs.
• Adhere to SHEQ and GMP standards during all maintenance tasks.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
