Job Description
Maintenance Technician

Position Purpose: Responsible for the overall maintenance, fault finding, repair, and replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the plant and machinery at the Service Centre(s), in accordance with Company and Government Regulations and Standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment with minimal downtime.
  2. Plan and execute a documented preventative maintenance system in conjunction with the Plant Manager.
  3. Daily inspection, recording, and reporting of information that may impede plant operation.
  4. Ensure all electrical and mechanical equipment operate in strict accordance with Government and Company Rules and Regulations.
  5. Practice safe working procedures in accordance with statutory regulations and the OHS Act.
  6. Ensure general maintenance and repairs are completed following laid-down procedures.
  7. Serve as the appointed competent person as required by statutory regulation.
  8. Sourcing of maintenance spares and equipment required.
  9. Adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures.
  10. Perform property maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:

Recommended: Electrical with Mechanical and Robotics Experience.

Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years’ technical experience.
Skills and Knowledge:

PLC experience is advantageous.

Preferred Education:

Technical / Professional Qualification.

Preferred Level of Work Experience:

3 - 5 years.
