Job description

Managing the preventative maintenance and state of repair to equipment and facilities.

Managing action plans and projects to the required standard.

Managing maintenance plans and suppliers within budget.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

1. Managing the preventative maintenance and state of repair to equipment and facilities
2. Maintain and repair plant, following preventative schedules for HVAC, and communicating faults and action plans to CGM / Ops and Regional MM.
3. Use maintenance log system on intranet for faults and adhere to downtime protocols.
4. Be hands-on in repairing faults where possible.
5. Maintain and repair premises, liaising with landlords and contractors, and ensuring repairs meet brand standards.
6. Maintain and repair gym equipment, completing downtime reports, and keeping maintenance history.
7. Inspect the club daily to establish maintenance tasks, checking job books, checklists, pool logs, and following up on maintenance issues.
8. Ensure pool maintenance is completed, including water quality, inspection, dosing, and backwashing within parameters.
9. Manage health & safety requirements in the club, ensuring compliance with OSH Act.

Managing Action Plans / Projects To The Required Standard

1. Assist in maintaining brand standards through regular checks and managing the RAP to conclusion.
2. Manage projects ensuring compliance with job specifications, safety standards, and quality, including contractor management and snag resolution.

Managing Maintenance Plans & Suppliers Within Budget

1. Ensure maintenance costs are within budget, liaising with CGM on constraints.
2. Control stock levels, using e-procurement with approved suppliers, and ensuring quality and delivery.

Managing the Maintenance Team to Achieve Desired Results

1. Manage team tasks, prioritize, set timelines, and ensure quality control.
2. Manage staffing, training, communication, shift rosters, and succession planning.

Be available for call outs and assist with lawful requests from management.
