Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an artisan in FMCG or similar industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience as maintenance supervisor.
• Valid driver's license essential and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the electrical and mechanical team.
• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing and repairs.
• Ensure minimum downtime during breakdowns.

Hudson Rubber is looking for highly motivated Maintenance supervisor (Trade Tested as an Fitter and turner or Millwright) to join our Maintenance team based in Babelegi, Hammanskraal, Tshwane, Gauteng
Required Qualification and Experience:
• Fitter and turner or Millwright Trade Test Certificate (RED SEAL)
• Minimum 5 years as an artisan in FMCG or similar industry
• Minimum 5 years experience in the position of a maintenance supervisor
• A strong technical ability and working on heights.
• Prepared to work overtime / shifts / standby / call outs when required.
• Valid driver's license essential and own transport
• Analytical, Self-started and Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail and Problem-solving skills.
• Strong personality with a high sense of discipline and organizing skills.
• A strong team player and be able to function and working in a Team.
• Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the electrical and mechanical team.
• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing and repairs to equipment.
• Conduct repairs to all machinery, plant and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown.
• Test systems using testing devices.
• Report any problems that require additional parts to the Manager.
• Take responsibility for safety in the plant.
• Report any parts which need to be ordered.
• Overhaul and repair the equipment as necessary.
• Assist in design of automation to improve factory efficiencies
