Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities
  1. Effectively supervise the maintenance and repair functions of the complex, ensuring work is of a high quality standard and completed on time.
  2. Efficiently order and control machine parts and spares.
  3. Investigate and keep up to date with new products and technology which assist the company to use technology effectively and reduce costs.
  4. Ensure employees, buildings, and equipment meet the relevant safety requirements in terms of the OHS Act and any other relevant regulations.
  5. Build and supervise a competent and motivated maintenance team.
  6. Ensure electricians and maintenance staff are on duty for every shift, and stand in to provide uninterrupted business operation where required.
  7. Drive the corporate culture and values across the maintenance department.
  8. Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high-quality standards consistently and accurately.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Matric (NQF 4)
  • Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance qualification
  • Qualified Electrician
  • Valid Wireman's License (IE)
  • Good practical supervisory skills and at least ten years' experience in maintenance

Own reliable transport and willingness to be on standby will be advantageous.
