Duties & Responsibilities
- Main Responsibilities (but not limited to): Creating detailed schedules for routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of components to prevent breakdowns for existing and new equipment.
- Creating check sheets as required and incorporating them into the PM system.
- Aligning maintenance activities with machine OEM manuals and tailoring maintenance intervals based on equipment usage, manufacturer recommendations, and historical performance data.
- Generating Work Orders based on SAP schedules.
- Incorporating predictive maintenance technologies such as condition monitoring to anticipate and address issues before they become critical.
- Implementing predictive maintenance techniques to optimize maintenance intervals and resource allocation.
- Establishing and communicating maintenance standards and best practices for each piece of equipment.
- Collaborating with equipment manufacturers to stay updated on recommended maintenance procedures.
- Creating maintenance procedures/manuals as required to explain and detail tasks.
- Conducting root cause analyses for past equipment failures to identify underlying issues and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to assess potential failure modes and prioritize preventative actions.
- Regularly reviewing and updating preventative maintenance plans based on feedback, performance data, and operational changes.
- Implementing feedback loops with maintenance artisans to incorporate their insights into plan improvements.
- Maintaining a spare parts inventory and strategy, including defining sourcing and lead times.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Certified Millwright.
- Proficiency in SAP Maintenance Module.
- Ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses of equipment failures.
- Understanding of safety regulations and occupational health standards relevant to maintenance activities.
- Several years of practical experience in maintenance planning, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, including predictive maintenance technologies within SAP.
Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Mechanical and electrical systems, equipment operation, and maintenance requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing maintenance data, interpreting trends, and using insights to optimize plans.
- Project Management: Organizing, planning, and coordinating maintenance activities efficiently.
- Proficiency in SAP for plant maintenance management.
Package & Remuneration
