Position available for a Maintenance Planner / Buyer
Minimum Qualification / Experience :
- Trade certificate (fitter, electrical or millwright) is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance planner, technical buyer or similar role
- Code EB Driver’s licence
- Must have advanced Computer skills – MS Office (excel, word, outlook, etc)
- Knowledge of Store Inventory Management Systems and techniques
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Systems (Pragma Onkey is an advantage)
- Understanding of Industrial Machines
- Must be able to read drawings
- Must be medically fit in terms of Mine Health and Safety Act
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Responsibilities :
- Updating & managing of job cards
- Ensure that all job cards are fully populated and signed off
- Ensure that all necessary documentation to perform the maintenance work are available
- Initiate and manage preventative maintenance of all sections
- Must be able to schedule jobs independently
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are captured and reported
- Ensure that all necessary documentation & material to perform the maintenance work are available
- Operating & administering the Computerised Maintenance System
- Perform any other duties assigned or delegated by management
- Pro-actively support and participate in safety, health and environmental initiatives
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workplace
- Manage and maintain tools
- Inventory management & technical procurement
- Work overtime when required, provided such a requirement is reasonable and within the law
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all SHE and MHS legislation
- Maintain a well-disciplined and productive working environment
