Position Title: Maintenance Planner and Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve preventive maintenance schedules for all critical assets.
- Coordinate and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.
- Create and manage work orders and job cards using CMMS (e.g., SAP).
- Prepare and issue maintenance schedules ensuring resource availability (technicians, tools, parts, permits).
- Prioritize work orders based on urgency, safety, and production requirements.
- Monitor compliance to planned schedules and update accordingly.
- Ensure maintenance KPIs are tracked and reported (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, adherence to schedule).
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and history of equipment breakdowns and interventions.
- Liaise with procurement/stores for timely availability of spare parts and consumables.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in annual shutdown planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assign schedules on SAP system and coordinate maintenance planning meetings.
- Close out completed shutdown work orders and manage related reports.
- Manage work order turnover and oversee OEE reports.
- Provide weekly and monthly plant performance reports and downtime analysis.
- Manage work order filing, archiving, and ensure audit readiness.
- Participate in audits and update engineering reports.
- Ensure adherence to work order schedules and manage schedules on SAP CMMS.
- Supervise safety permits, shutdowns, and coordinate progress meetings.
- Manage SAP user access requests and equipment hierarchy updates.
- Coordinate post-shutdown meetings, documenting and planning follow-up actions.
Requirements:
- Education & Qualifications: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in maintenance planning/scheduling within FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, multitasking, knowledge of maintenance workflows, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project), analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, attention to detail, sense of urgency, proactive approach, results-oriented.
