Job Description
The Engineering department currently has a vacancy for a detail-oriented, process-driven, organized individual to join their team. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced, demanding, and pressurized environment. The successful candidate must always conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the professional and ethical values of the Group. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Plan and implement corrective, planned, and preventive maintenance activities, determining material, equipment, and labor needs to complete tasks economically and efficiently.
- Drive and champion the CWorks maintenance system, ensuring all departmental utilization targets are met consistently.
- Manage the Engineering Scope of Works and bill of materials.
- Optimize resource utilization.
- Provide and present training to new employees on the CWorks maintenance system.
- Ensure high quality of work and safety standards are maintained.
- Identify, manage, and address discrepancies and inconsistencies with relevant parties.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes to enhance productivity.
- Generate and maintain reports.
- Assist with Engineering Safety processes for daily operations and shutdown work.
- Coordinate and plan daily maintenance and repair activities.
- Compile and capture machine parts in the stores system.
- Abide by regulations set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Qualifying Criteria
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Suitable qualification/certification in a trade and/or business administration.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Full computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
- Strong proven administrative skills.
- Experience with Electronic Maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, understanding).
- Willingness to work overtime when required.

- Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Standard Hours
07:30 – 17:00, Monday to Thursday
07:30 – 16:00, Fridays
Overtime may be required as per operational needs.
