Job summary

Hire Resolve's client, a leader in precision mechanical manufacturing, seeks a Maintenance Planner in Cape Town to develop and manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely task completion.

Responsibilities include creating inspection plans, generating SAP work orders, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, performing root cause analyses, and maintaining PM documentation and spare parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certificated Millwright.
• Certified SAP user (Maintenance Module).
• Fully proficient in using the SAP Maintenance Module.
• Ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify and address the underlying causes of equipment failures.
• Understanding of Safety Regulations: Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards and regulations relevant to maintenance activities.
• Several years of practical experience in maintenance planning, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Specific experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, including setting up of schedules and integrating predictive maintenance technologies within the SAP environment.

• Regularly review and update preventative maintenance plans based on feedback and data.
