Job Summary:

This is a primarily on-site, customer-oriented position for a Grade 2 Maintenance Technician to join our client's Customer Services team working in residential buildings across two developments. The role focuses on ensuring residents have the best experience and receive the highest levels of courteous and professional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and diagnose faults; carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance inside apartments as requested by the customer service team.
  • Perform weekly flushing checks on all vacant apartments; maintain updated records of attendance and concerns.
  • Conduct functionality checks in vacant apartments before handovers; assist in resolving issues prior to legal completion and handover.
  • Investigate reported defects; document findings with photographs; resolve issues independently where possible.
  • Oversee and assist contractors with larger repair projects; collaborate with them and other maintenance technicians.
  • Undertake other skilled tasks as demonstrated and required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations, adhering to standards and protocols.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; report malfunctions or material needs.
