To continue the upkeep of our facility and grounds across our Alice Springs Aged Care facilities, a new opportunity has come available for an experienced Maintenance Officer – Multi Site to join the team.
Based in Alice Springs, this role will see you providing handyman, maintenance, and gardening services across our three aged care homes, namely – Hetti Perkins Home for the Aged, Flynn Lodge, and Old Timers.
This position is being offered on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week at a salary of $30.44 - $31.79 / hour gross base (dependent on qualifications and experience).
This role will see you undertake a range of generalist handyman duties to keep our facilities in the best condition possible. This includes handyman duties such as painting, fillers, etc., and grounds maintenance including mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, etc.
You will also provide support and guidance for external contracts who are on site to support the facility. This opportunity will suit a person who is proactive and leads by example.
You will have previous experience in a maintenance or handyman environment and be able to commit to full-time hours. In addition, you will be comfortable working within an Aged Care facility and interacting respectfully with our residents.
