Job description

NOV Energy Equipment is seeking a fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Millwright. In this role you will install, repair, replace, maintain, dismantle and assemble machinery and equipment used at NOV.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • To promptly respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Apply trouble-shooting and fault finding techniques to identify the cause of the breakdown.
  • Effect quick and robust repairs
  • Use the correct tools and spares to ensure that the machines / equipment are correctly and safely repaired.
  • Ensure that machines / equipment are installed according to recognised standards, procedures and plans.
  • Ensure that machines are installed in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Technical Grade 12, Minimum N4- N6, completed a recognised millwright apprenticeship and passed a recognised trade test in the trade of millwright.
  • Alternatively, qualified through experience and / or recognition of prior learning

EXPERIENCE :

  • Experience as a Millwright within a heavy engineering environment

  • Electronic fault finding
  • PLC programming and fault finding (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenheim)
