Requirements:
B-Degree (NQF 8 / 10) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred)
Government Certificate of Competence (GCC) – Factories
Experience managing maintenance operations in complex production plants
Proficiency in maintenance management systems (SAP, Maximo, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and asset optimization
6+ years of experience in industrial maintenance management
Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Reliability & Maintenance Planning: Lead preventative, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to maximize plant uptime
SHERQ & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHERQ) regulations
Production Support: Work closely with production managers to adapt maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions
Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage the total maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance operations
Continuous Improvement & CAPEX Initiatives: Implement lean maintenance strategies and drive capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects
